As a child, one of my favorite books was Tell Me Why by Arkady Leokum. I soaked up complex ideas when they were simplified. Not surprisingly, Arkady Leokum was a copywriter. He wrote for Grey Advertising, Inc., and is best known for his creative campaigns for Chock Full O’Nuts Corp, Greyhound Bus Co., Westinghouse Electric, and R. H. Macy Co.
Growing up, I was often fundraising for worthwhile causes. As a teen, my idea of fun was a day of research at the Library of Congress (truth), so I understand the value of good research and storytelling when marketing your idea.
I’ve raised six children, so I understand the value that a good foundation and constant engagement has on growing a strong person or concept.
I’ve professionally authored and edited in the public and private sectors for over 30 years with civilians and active-duty military, alike, in three continents so I understand the value that different languages and their nuances have on projecting an idea.
